Where has the time gone?!?!

Well well well! havent blogged in ages it seems! Not going to type everything that has happened bc it has indeed been a while. Utah is getting hot! I love summer time and i wish it would never end. Going back to school in the fall. Maybe i can remember why im really here and hurry up and get my piece of paper with some old mans signature so i can get the hell out of this place. I really miss my city. Its hard not having the chance to get in your car and drive LSD at night time going south up from lincoln park watching the city lights and having the windows rolled down feeling the cool wind from the lake. Thinking about it makes me smile. I read a news article today about how this Utah company called Pinacle that sells security systems across the country is spaming people in MY CITY. Gives me more reason to get the hell out of here. I sware on the good book itself that if i EVER come across any of those pricks in my city ill make sure they get their asses kicked all the way back to utah and stop feeding off the struggling folks that live on the south side. Im very proud to be where i am from. Looks like Columbia Sportswear is opening a store on michigan ave! Thats my ticket out of here people!!! Once im done here ill ask for the transfer and ill have a secure job back home! Unless they decide to fire me which isnt bloody likely. Ill be back in october to say goodbye to the next LDS missionary in our family, my younger brother. I remember when i came back from my mission i read on his MySpace that his hero was ME. I dont think im a hero. I just did what i know was right and what was asked of me. Well at least i tried to. Its odd to think its his turn now. Just yesterday we were jumping up and down hugging eachother because the white sox had made an impressive come back against the tigers in the 8th inning a couple years ago. It will be hard going to sox games without my brother or even getting that phone call from him telling me that the sox just whooped on the other team.

Confession

Ok so i thought i would finally put out one of my crazy obsessions. WEATHER!! Ever since i was little i have always been terrified of tornadoes and such but it has grown into an obsession where im always interested in whats going on with the weather or when the next storm is coming. So much in fact that for the past two Christmases I have been asking for a weather forcaster to have in my room so i always know what the weather is. Its probably been the best thing i have gotten because i use it all the time and if anyone ever wants to know the weather for today or the next five days, dont turn on the weather channel, CALL ME! I do though have a profound interest for meteorology but i dare not try to study it in school. Too many wierd people in that field of study. I know im wierd but not like that....

Wow its been forever since i have written in here! Many things have changed over the past months including MY new president! thankfully this country has realized that it was indeed a time for change and a time for history to take its place. Over the past weeks i have had many discussions with these utah mormon republicans(who i may add have no idea why they are republicans) about the new things that MY president will bring about. It saddens me that many feel that the unfortunate should still continue to suffer because of the opportunites that they never had such as many of the people i have arugued with have had. One fellow said to me that in this country one can be anyone and anything he or she wants to if they work hard enough and that we all have the same opportunites. Ok lets see, his mother is a doctor, father a lawyer, and they both have gotten him everything he has wanted or needed and has no job while at BYU. So a kid growing up in the Cabrini Green projects has the same opportunities as him????? I BEG TO DIFFER!!! Im not going to type all the reasons why the unfortunate do not have the same opportunities because after having this discussion, people who think like this byu character need to open their minds and realize there is a place outside of utah called "the world." After this experience i told my friends, "I vow that i will never call this place my home." I dare not to raise my kids in an enviroment with such people who cannot open their minds and realize this country for the past 8 years has been digging its own grave and now with new hope and a new horizon in place, we all can rebuild and be proud to be americans. WHEW! Enough of that!
